Formed in Bailey’s Crossroads, Virginia in 1981 by brothers Peter and Franz Stahl, bassist Skeeter Thompson, and drummer Kent Stax, Scream released four albums on Dischord Records. Dave Grohl replaced Stax on the drums in 1986.
