Turquenite has a lovely intense colour and vibration. Some consider Turquenite of low spiritual value for it's a artificial coloured Mineral. It's healing effect however is magnificent. In body healing work Turquenite is used for detoxing the fluid-system because of it's grounding nature. Turquenite has a balancing, neutralizing character which helps with anger, temper and any kind of hot bloodedness. The combination of Turquenite and Rudraksha seems to be fitting because it provides a calming and balancing energy. According to 'Shiva Purana', Lord Shiva once went into deep meditation for the well being of all living creatures. When he woke up, he opened his eyes and teardrops fell on the earth. These teardrops took the form of seeds that later on became the Rudraksha tree. Rudraksha therefore means 'The Tear of Lord Shiva'. The dry seed-capsules from the Rudraksha tree form these beads, which are being used for Japamalas. They remind us to breath deeply rather than give in to our darkness.
