Up Front was an influential part of the late 1980's straight edge hardcore movement in New York and Connecticut that helped pave the way for the third generation of straight edge hardcore bands. "Spirit" is the classic LP from 1988 which was followed by a summer tour in 1989 with Unit Pride, Insted and Gorilla Biscuits.
